Pianist Honggi Kim is a renowned artist for his unique musicality, where rationality and emotion seamlessly come together, creating a distinctive sound and interpretation. His approach is shaped by his early studies in both piano and composition, which allowed him to develop a personal perspective and deep understanding of music.
He has earned numerous prizes in international competitions, including Isangyun, Jaén, Hong Kong, Geneva, Géza Anda, Schubert in Germany and many other. Hong-gi Kim has performed in solo recitals, chamber music, and as a concerto soloist across Europe, Asia, and many other countries.
As a pianist, he presents such a unique program every year. In 2025, he presents the complete piano solo works of Maurice Ravel to mark the 150th anniversary of Ravel’s birth.
Pianist Kinwai Shum achieved notable acclaim by winning major prizes at the 11th Schubert International Piano Competition in Germany and the 4th Hilton Head International Piano Competition in the US. His successes have led to performances across Europe, North America, and Far East Asia, including solo appearances with the Dortmund Philharmonic and Hong Kong Pro Arte Orchestra. Shum has been invited to teach and perform at prestigious events like the Indiana University Summer Music Festival and Yeoncheon DMZ International Music Festival. His 2014 all-Schubert album received critical acclaim. Honored with the Certificate of Commendation from Hong Kong’s Secretary for Home Affairs and the Distinguished Young Pianist Award, he is a Steinway artist and serves as an Honorary Artist-in-residence at several Hong Kong institutions.
Eun Jung Shon, a native of Seoul, Korea,
is a highly accomplished pianist. Graduate of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University where she earned multiple degrees on full scholarships.
She has won numerous competitions in Korea and expanded her career globally by achieving first prizes in prestigious
international competitions, including the New Orleans International competition and the St. Charles International Competition.
As a soloist, she has performed with renowned orchestras worldwide and has been invited to play at esteemed venues such as Musikverein Hall in Vienna and the Berlin Philharmoniker.
In addition to her performances, Shon is a also dedicated educator. She currently serves as a faculty member at arts schools in Seoul, and the Music Academy for Gifted Children at the Seoul Arts Center.
